A New and Complete History of the County of Kent; from the Earliest Records to the Present Time, Including Every Modern Improvement. Embellished with a Series of Views from Original Drawings by Geo. Shepherd, H. Gastineau, &c. with Historical, Topographical, Critical, & Biographical Delineations by W.H. Ireland. Published in 1829.


This is an four volume original set, not a modern reprint in what appears to be the original half leather bindings. Some signs of age and wear to the binding. Inside in very good original condition through out. All the engravings are present, in Vol 1. The Frontispiece map of Kent has half of it missing. Some to be expected slight foxing throughout.
Each volume measure approx. 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 x 2 inches.

A Saunter Through Kent With Pen and Pencil By C. Igglesden-assorted single copies

2 copies each of vols I, V & XIV.

1 copy each of vols. IV, VIII, XI

All of these copies are without dust-jackets. Internally they are all in very good condition. The covers are all intact and fully attached but all have some degree of fading and discolouration and some rubbing to the edges.
