Horse Racing prints by Thomas Rowlandson circa 1799-four original hand coloured framed engravings

“The Betting Post”, which shows a crowd of wealthy gamblers which includes the Prince Regent and the celebrated thoroughbred owner Dennis O’Kelly.

“The Start”.

“Weighing & Rubbing Down”.

“Between The Races”, which shows the “lower classes” gambling, drinking, and carousing between races.

All hand coloured, and all in very good condition with some slight foxing in places.

The frames all measure 13 x 10 ½ inches and they are glazed with picture glass [not safety glass].
